The Sheep Side:
The sheep wanted to blend in with his herd. The sheep wanted to follow the shepherd. The sheep was nice and fluffy and white and made a life for himself by not sticking out too differently. This sheep went on to live a peaceful life where he didn’t have to face anything too difficult.
The Goat Side:
The goat was tired of being of being in his pen. He wanted to escape, to adventure, to climb a tree, to surf, to befriend others animals, people and plants, to eat things he wasn’t supposed to, to grow his beard, to point his horns, to look and feel the way that felt right to him on the inside and the outside.
This sheep never crossed paths with the goat, but one day, the goat heard the story of this sheep. He took another bite of his snack, breathed a deep breath and said “Not for me, but to each his own.”
