“I am going to start my own business”
How many times have you heard someone say this?
Note the strong 1st person tone in this sentence: “I…my own business"
This is something that a lot of people don’t tell you about starting your own business…if you decide to do it on your own, it can be a long and lonely trip.
I know plenty of people that are awesome on their own, but in reality, I work much better on a team. I know this, I have had partners before, both with Chivaz and with other projects. Do you know this about yourself?
So what do you do if you if you know you work better with others but your vision is purely your own?
This is the question I am trying to figure out. What I wouldn’t do to find someone out there with some talent and a lot of passion for socks. With a partner, Chivaz can flourish, without, I am just not sure, let’s just say that the company isn’t exactly making millions at the moment.
Are you an artist? A web person? A marketer? A PR person? Are you talented in some way that you know provides value, but can’t find the right channel for your gifts? Can you see yourself spending 20 hours a week on a project that might not make money? Well, if that is the case, please let me know. Shoot me an email firstname.lastname@example.org and let’s talk.
